Lake Lanier
Situated near Buford and Gainesville, Lake Lanier is Georgia’s most popular inland water destination. All along the lake are opportunities to boat, fish, swim, and camp. For a full weekend of fun, plan a trip to Lake Lanier Islands resort! Expect beaches, resort-style amenities including a spa and restaurants, and a water park. Montclair and River Rock are within driving distance of Lake Lanier, but our newest Gainesville community, Hawthorne Village, is especially close.
Six Flags White Water
Six Flags White Water in Marietta is an iconic Georgia water park. Spend the day rocketing down amazing water slides, enjoying the massive wave pool, and relaxing on the lazy river. Gunnerson Pointe is not far from White Water. And, Sandtown Estates and Heritage at Kennesaw Mountain are also just a few minutes drive from the fun.
Acworth Beach
The large sandy beach is the jewel of beautiful Cauble Park on Lake Acworth. Just right for a fun day trip, Cauble Park has swimming areas, playgrounds, picnic and event pavilions, boat launches, and fishing spots. Villas at Hickory Grove is comfortably close to Acworth Beach access.
